The Inner Wheel Club of Adyar (IWC) recently hosted a successful Pookalam and Rangoli competition at the Youth Hostel, raising funds for a project to provide laser treatment for premature babies’ eyes.
The event saw enthusiastic participation, with teams competing in both Pookalam and Rangoli contests. The participants and their drivers were surprised with special gifts and goody bags as a token of appreciation.
Organisers noted that the event was a testament to the club’s camaraderie and meticulous planning. Raji Venkatesh, the club’s secretary, and J.Shanthi, the president, expressed their delight at the event’s success in uniting members for a good cause.
