Renowned Bollywood actor John Abraham visited the Blue Cross of India’s animal sanctuary in Chennai, showcasing his compassion and support for animal welfare.
During his visit, Abraham interacted with BCI’s dedicated team and volunteers, learning about the organization’s tireless efforts in rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need. He also spent time with the animals, including dogs, cats, cattle and horses, and was moved by their stories of resilience and hope.
“Humbled and grateful to be here. Never lose this fight,” he wrote in the visitors’ book.
Blue Cross of India, registered in 1964, arguably India’s most active animal welfare organization, is now in its 60th year and touches the lives of more than 1000 animals and birds a year.
“We are thrilled to have Mr.Abraham in our sanctuary,” said Mr. Vinod Kumaar (General Manager), Blue Cross of India. “His visit will further help raise awareness about animal welfare and inspire others to join our mission,” he added.
