Dr. Yamini Kannappan, Senior Consultant Psychiatrist at Kauvery Hospital Alwarpet, emphasised, “Addressing mental health at the workplace is crucial for both employees and employers. A supportive environment not only enhances productivity but also nurtures a positive culture where individuals can thrive.”

Adding to the initiative, Sangeeth Gopinath, Program Head of the Undergraduate Psychology department at MSSW remarked, “Creating awareness about mental health in professional settings is the first step toward change. We need to break the stigma and encourage open conversations, making workplaces spaces of comfort and growth.”

The rally served as a platform to educate the public about the importance of mental health in professional settings and encouraged open dialogue about mental well-being, aiming to create more inclusive and healthy work environments.
