Police personnel celebrates Children’s Day

Mrs.Sreedevi, J5 Sastri Nagar Inspector (Crime Branch) and RTN.Muthusamy Chinnasamy, (Chairman, Public Image, Rotary District, 3232), participated in Children’s Day celebrations at Shastri Nagar Primary School. The children were informed about the Child Help Line and Student Help Line, on the occasion.

The inspector emphasised that the children should be given education beyond their curriculum. They should be encouraged to be creative and show their individuality in dealing with life. They should also be taught compassion and sympathy, she added.

Adyar Times was established in Chennai in the year 1993, founded by Mr.S.P.Ambrose, IAS (Retd.). The concept of a newspaper for the neighbourhood was a novel idea then. The English weekly (Sunday) now boasts a circulation of 42000 copies with an average of 16 pages per issue.
