Samskrita Bharati, Tamilnadu, recently concluded two successful Sanskrit promotion events. The annual day for its online children’s program, Balageervani, was celebrated on Oct.5, at Yogalaya, Gandhi Nagar, Adayar.

The event, attended by over 40 children and 50 parents, featured chief guest Hemalatha Muralidharan and Special Guest C. S. Ram, who inspired children on leadership and the value of Sanskrit. Young participants showcased their skills through skits, songs, and recitations.

Simultaneously, Samskrita Bharati successfully conducted the Akshara Abhyasam (Sanskrit alphabet-learning) classes from Oct.3 to 11. Led by Valli Kumar, the intensive workshop gave a crucial foundation in the Devanagari script to around 20 participants, many of whom were first-time learners. To ensure mastery, a five-day online follow-up class has been planned.
