Rtn Monisha Dayal took over the leadership mantle as president of Rotary Club of Chennai Thiruvanmiyur (RCCT), along with her Board of Directors for the year 2023-2024 with a vision to organise many social welfare initiatives. Guest of honour P.L.A.Jaganath Mishra and chief guest District Governor Rtn A.K.S.Ravi Raman presided over the evening.
“The work done by the Rotary Club of Chennai Thiruvanmiyur for the past 14 years is commendable. Many social welfare projects will be undertaken by the club in the next year to come under the leadership of Rtn. Monisha Dayal,” said a statement from the club.
On the occasion, a wheelchair was donated to a disabled person, notebooks and stationery items were donated to Harijan Sevak Sangh students; transgender Vilashini would be sponsored education through Rotary of Chennai Thiruvanmiyur for the next three years.
