NIFT Chennai organised its Khadi Mahotsav Fashion Show 2023 – VASTRA VIRAASAT on Oct.18, at the institute’s premises and this show focused on the timeless elegance of khadi fabric, a symbol of India’s rich heritage.
This show, highlighting the fusion of khadi and creativity, was a platform for innovation and sustainable fashion, bridging tradition with contemporary design. The event highlighted the versatility and eco-friendliness of Khadi, catalysing collaboration between academia and industry, fostering a spirit of creativity and sustainability in the world of fashion.
National Institute of Fashion Technology is a premier institute of design, management and technology set up under the aegis of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
